Adolescence is a time of change. Many teens experience changes in their sleep, specifically differences in the timing and frequency of sleep. Although these sleep changes are common, we still do not know much about how these alterations impact young people’s physical and psychological health. The CARRS program seeks to examine the relationship between sleep and changes in mood, behavior, and cognition through several ongoing research studies.

Our studies involve teens tracking their sleep at home using online questionnaires and meeting briefly with staff to review their sleep and well-being. Some participants may be asked to complete additional activities at our research lab. Teens will be matched to CARRS research based on inclusion criteria. Participation is dependent on your teen’s eligibility, your consent for them to participate, and the recruitment needs of each study.
